There are two main circles at Circles of Grace.

LABYRINTH

Why walk the Labyrinth?

"Walking the labyrinth fulfills important needs:

* inwardness & connection to self
* access to intuition and creativity
* integration of body and spirit
* intimacy and community

A labyrinth is different from a maze, though the two are often confused. The labyrinth is one of the oldest contemplative and transformational tools known to humankind, used for centuries for prayer, ritual, initiation, and personal and spiritual growth. This ancient and powerful tool is unicursal, offering only one route to the center and back out again, no blind alleys, dead ends, or tricks, as in a maze. No matter where you are in the labyrinth´s coherent circuits you can always see the center. Once you set your foot upon its path, the labyrinth gently and faultlessly leads you to the center of both the labyrinth and yourself, no matter how many twist and turns you negotiate in the process

MEDICINE WHEEL

The essence of the medicine wheel is movement and change. Through this knowledge people attempt to allow themselves as
much room for change in any one life as they can handle. They
wish to progress around the wheel and experience as many manifestations of human nature as possible.


The medicine wheel is a magic circle that encompasses all of that world. As you journey around it you will find both within and
without. With tenacity you will even discover the wonder of
knowing about yourself: who you are, what you know and what
you can do in this lifetime.


The medicine wheel is divided into twelve moons, or months, beginning with the Earth REnewwal Moon, which comes on Dec 22.
You begin your journey at one of these moons. Your starting
position gives you the strengths, lessons and challenges of one set
of totems. It also gives you your beginning elemental clan and your beginning Spirit
Keeper.


In order to grow you must reach out and give yourself to the universe.
